By using Treato ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Using Treato

Treato is a pet care tracking app that helps you log feeding, walking, medication, vet visits, and other care activities for your pets. The app is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Treato. By using the app, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You may use Treato without an account. Creating an account enables data sync across devices. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

3. Your Data

Your pet data belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of any content you create in Treato, including pet profiles, care logs, photos, or notes. You can export or delete your data at any time.

4. Treato Pro Subscriptions

• Treato Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription
• A 7-day free trial is included with your first subscription
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Subscription prices may vary by region. Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple. We do not handle payment information directly.

5. Not Medical Advice

Treato is a care tracking tool, not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Care scores, health trends, and medication reminders are informational only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Create accounts using automated methods

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treato and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

We are not responsible for missed reminders, incorrect medication schedules, or any pet care decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

8. Termination

You can stop using Treato at any time by deleting the app. You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
